Biography

Laura Alice Bonnie was born at the former Pacific Christian Hospital in Eugene, Oregon on April 12, 1932. Samuel P. Barley and Leona M. Barley were her parents. Laura Bonnie had children at a young age and was a full time mom of three. She named her children Glen Arnold Barley, Rose Ann Figura, and Robert Dean Gray. She married a gentlemen named Ralph Pratt, and after he passed away, she married Elmer Gray. After Elmer passed away, she married a man named Jess Bonnie. After Jess passed away, she spent many years with William (Or, Willie, as I called him), but they were never married. Willie passed away from pneumonia when I was ten or eleven years old. After Willie passed, Laura moved in with her brother Leon Barley. Laura spent much of her life doing housework and raising children. She enjoyed sowing, watching television (soap operas, especially), reading, and going to church. After Leon passed, Laura was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Laura passed away at her home on October 15th, 2020 at 8:15 PM due to complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was 88 years of age and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
